Support

Children & Young People -The Swing
WBSS provides support for children and young people who have experienced bereavement, from 5 – 17-years-old.
We hope to remain as inclusive as we can be, we achieve this by not have restrictions on,
How long ago the bereavement was
The relationship between the child or young person and the deceased
The circumstance of the death
We also provide support for families who feel they will benefit from working together through their grief process.
All appointments currently take place at our Centre in Walsall, with a specially developed creative support room for all ages.
WBSS can provide evidence of support for schools if required.
We offer between 6 and 10 sessions dependent on age and complexity of grief.
Adults -Let's Talk
WBSS provides confidential one to one support for bereaved adults at various locations around Walsall Borough. Here you can talk about the impacts of your bereavement that you may not feel able to talk about with anyone else.
Our current support locations are Bloxwich, Brownhills, Pelsall, Pleck, Willenhall, and central Walsall.
We offer up to eight appointments during weekdays and Saturdays.
If you feel you will benefit from our support, you can contact us via our contact us page. We also accept referral from third-party organisations.
